Alfred Dodini

Dr. Dodini hold’s a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, a
Masters of Social Work degree from Brigham Young University, and a Ph.D. in Child
Development and Family Studies with a specialization in marriage and family therapy
from Purdue University.

Before beginning his career in behavioral health, Dr. Dodini worked in the entertainment
industry as a performer/manager spending eight years traveling and performing
throughout the U.S. and internationally.
After working in the field of child welfare for several years and receiving his PhD, Dr.
Dodini worked as the Director of Clinical Services for the ANASAZI Foundation
overseeing the adolescent and young adult wilderness therapy programs, couple’s
relationship enrichment program, and out-patient therapy program. He is also a fully
certified Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations, a
certified life coach, and has delivered over 500 presentations to Junior and Senior High
School students on ethical decision-making and the challenges associated with
adolescence.

Since 2008 Dr. Dodini has worked full time in private practice working with individuals,
couples, families, and groups. He employs a biopsychosocial-spiritual approach to issues
including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship problems, parenting, grief,
aging, and coping with the everyday challenges of life. He and his wife Patricia are the
parents of seven daughters and three sons.
